Join our dynamic and multidisciplinary Water Team as a Principal Asset Management Consultant in our rapidly growing Belfast office whilst also taking advantage of our flexible hybrid working model. At AECOM were at the forefront of innovation delivering an exceptional portfolio of water programmes and projects through long-term partnerships with key clients. These include clean and wastewater utilities throughout the UK and Ireland.

In this role you will provide technical knowledge and digital solutions to our clients as well as supporting the team with project delivery. This position offers an unparalleled opportunity to lead a talented diverse team committed to innovation and efficiency.

Heres what youll do:

  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide support to deliver digital solutions.
  • Deliver high-quality technical services to the measurable satisfaction of clients.
  • Support the development of technical strategies and technical assurance within discipline.
  • Contribute to the development of AECOMs technical capability helping to strengthen our ability to deliver value to clients.
  • Support and guide the technical personal and professional development of junior team members.
  • Engage in discipline-specific activities and collaborate across the wider business contributing technical awareness to drive innovation and support business intelligence.
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to team members and throughout the business.
  • Participate in knowledge sharing and process standardisation across the discipline group.

Qualifications :

Ready to push the limits of whats possible

Heres what were looking for:

  • Degree (or equivalent) in appropriate discipline such as engineering or geography.
  • Obtained or working towards professional membership of a recognised institution.
  • Experience with large datasets related to asset characteristics and performance including awareness of their acquisition management and analysis.
  • Exposure to delivering or supporting digital solutions integrating data capture management analysis and visualisation.
  • Knowledge of asset management principles and their application within the water sector regulatory framework.
  • Familiarity with project management supporting technical delivery monitoring quality and costs.
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following:
    • ArcGIS QGIS FME
    • Microsoft SQL
    • R and Python
