To provide a professional catering service and contribute towards ensuring that company standards are maintained and that Company expectations are met within the agreed objectives for the RGS Group. This will mainly tasked at the Worcester site but will include events at the other three schools so driving is essential. This is for a 40 hour working week split over 5 days. Overtime is available and the candidate must be willing to work evenings and Saturdays.
The hospitality supervisor will need also to be able to deliver the following points.
Manage site specific hospitality services at all four locations in accordance with the contract and weekly events.
Drive hospitality performance through management and monitoring of KPIs labour and costs.
Ensure that costs are controlled and charged with free issues in line with budget.
Control costs through ensuring weekly stock take is managed and liaise as appropriate with all departments.
Seek new ways to control costs and drive service standards across the hospitality department.
Ensure the unit complies with all company and client policies site rules and statutory regulations i.e. licencing laws Trading Standards and EHO.
Facilitate a high support high challenge performance management culture that motivates an engaged workforce
Experience in a large-scale events environment
Operational knowledge skills and experience in managing multi service operations.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers clients and employees at all levels
Demonstrate resilience when faced with conflicting business challenges
Ability to interpret and utilise varied financial and commercial information
Achieve set standards and operate to performance criteria for example health and safety hygiene.
