Do you want to work in one of the worlds leading expert organizations and become a tax professional
We are now looking for students in the final stages of their studies or recent graduates to become Trainees at Deloittes Tax Services in Helsinki Tampere and Turku! Our goal is that as many Trainees as possible continue in permanent employment after the Trainee period.
Your full-time Trainee period lasts 4-6 months and will take place during the following periods in our different tax teams:
Business taxation: February 2026 June 2026
Personal taxation: February 2026 May 2026
Value added tax: March 2026 August 2026
Please mention in your application if you wish for another time for your Trainee period. As a Trainee you are an important part of the team you will immediately get involved in customer projects. You will get to know the world of tax consultants and work with domestic and international tax matters.
In the corporate taxation team Trainees tasks typically include preparing tax returns various reports related to corporate taxation and assisting domestic and international clients in tax issues related to mergers and acquisitions and transfer pricing.
In the personal taxation team you get to work in a wide range of areas such as personal taxation rewarding and social security. The duties typically include assisting international and domestic clients in tax and social security issues related to international mobility and rewarding as well as in related applications personal tax returns and reports. Please be aware that within the personal taxation team the only available locations are Tampere and Helsinki.
In the VAT team tasks include for example preparing VAT returns and expert comments for domestic and international the VAT team you will also have a chance to take part in customs and excise taxation related projects or projects that utilize technology.

What do we want from you
If you are inspired by what you read and are analytical eager to learn and a team player who is inspired by new challenges you could be the Tax Trainee we are looking for! In addition we hope you have:
an applicable university degree or you are at the end of your studies (e.g. LL.M. . (Econ.) or . (Admin)
fluent in spoken and written English
Previous work experience in taxation is considered an advantage but it is not necessary.
To be considered for this Trainee position a prerequisite is that you are currently allowed to work in Finland holding a valid residence permit if required.
