The opportunity
Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities employs over 1900 staff and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products Solutions and Services. Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications including power generation transmission and distribution oil chemical and gas industrial manufacturing semiconductor and data centers as well as building and transportation sectors.

How youll make an impact
1. You will implement effective sourcing strategies in line with IC business strategy and regional/global Continuous Improvement Process Sourcing (CIPS) strategy to ensure that suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future IC business requirements.
2. You will ensure all relevant parties understand strategies and execute processes accordingly. Ensure alignment between local SCM activities and GPG/BU strategies.
3. You will collaborate with proposal project and category teams to determine necessary items for procurement during the project. Develop schedules estimates forecasts and budgets to support project purchasing process.
4. You will implement programs to drive improvement in cost quality delivery and working capital (payment terms lead times order quantities and purchased material inventory).
5. You will secure full utilization of the Ariba platform according to relevant procedure both related to sharing of supplier information and to finding existing high performing suppliers.
6. You will manage planning and tracking of procurement activities cost budgets emerging country spending and savings forecasts. Ensure buyers minimize risk regarding quality and financial exposure by buying in accordance.
7. You will support the localization development of IC business from commercial perspective.
8. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.

Your background
1. You hold a bachelors and above degree.
2. Self-motivated high curiosity and ability to learn new technologies.
3. Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Work conscientiously and carefully.
4. Fluent in both oral and written English.
