Toronto ON Software Engineering
This is a hands-on role where you ll build and launch features that will be used daily by industry professionals. You ll rotate between projects working closely with internal teams and end-users to deliver solutions that drive real-world impact.
What You ll Do
Build and roll out new capabilities that directly enhance the platform s core user experience.
Scale and optimize systems as the product evolves from startup scale into enterprise-ready adoption.
Contribute across multiple domains: UI/UX frontends backend APIs data pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
Work closely with product design and customer-facing teams to turn ideas into impactful solutions.
Be an active voice in cultivating a team culture rooted in inclusion innovation and constant iteration.
Requirements
What We re Looking For
5 years of professional software development experience ideally with exposure to both frontend and backend work.
Strong grounding in CS fundamentals (algorithms data structures systems).
Proficiency with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript with practical experience using frameworks like Django and React (or equivalents).
Familiarity with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL) and cloud environments (GCP experience is an asset).
Track record of delivering complex web-based applications in production.
Comfort working remotely in a fast-moving environment with cross-disciplinary teams.
Bonus points for a mention of the year React was first released include it in your application to show you ve read carefully.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety can move fluidly between frontend and backend and wants to contribute meaningfully to a technology platform with a real-world footprint.
