Job Description

unforgettable.
Note: the start date for this position will be beginning of September 2025 with the end date of January 1 2026.
What you will be doing:
- Consistently offer professional friendly and engaging service to all guests in a variety of settings including plated and buffet banquets for breakfasts/lunch/dinner working lunches coffee breaks cocktail receptions formal evening events/galas/weddings and off-site catering events
- Setting up and tearing down banquet functions/conference rooms
- Lifting and moving Banquets equipment including chairs tables dance floor etc.
- Assistance with bartending duties
- Follow all policies procedures and service standards including health & safety and food handling procedures
- Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays. The schedule for this position will primarily be AM shifts.
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include:
- Previous customer service experience is an asset
- Must have Alberta ProServe certification
- Must be physically fit with the ability to lift heavy items (chairs tables etc.) up to 50 lbs
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Proven teamwork mindset is essential with the ability to communicate effectively at all times
- Strong focus on health & safety with a dedication to maintaining a safe work environment
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
