Job Summary

We are currently seeking multiple experienced Diesel Fitters to join the Central Workshop Maintenance team at our Dawson Mine in Moura QLD.

To be successful in this role you will ensure compliance with all Anglo American safety and operating systems and have a commitment to working together as part of a team to achieve business objectives.

Your core accountabilities will include:

  • Ensure that plant and equipment is maintained to a high level.
  • Undertake troubleshooting fault finding breakdown and preventative maintenance on Heavy Mobile Equipment.
  • Achieve performance targets in compliance with statutory safety health budget and environmental requirements.
  • Knowledge of SAP and Auto Electrical experience is not essential but highly desirable.

Qualifications :

  • Mechanical Trade Qualification (Cert III in Engineering - Diesel Fitter or equivalent)
  • Hold a current Australian Manual Drivers Licence
  • Minimum of C Class Manual Drivers Licence
  • Experience with safety management systems
  • Experience within a mining Mobile Maintenance Operations
  • HIAB EWP Forklift Dogging and Rigging Certificates (desirable)
