Job Summary
Were Looking for a Head Sommelier to lead our wine team to lead our wine team to excellence. If you have a passion for wine and a flair for customer service we want you to be part of our adventure!
- Managing inventory like a pro.
- Crafting and updating our fabulous wine list in collaboration with our chefs and General Manager.
- Supervising wine service and building relationships with winemakers and suppliers for the best selections.
- Training our Sommeliers and Wine Waiters to keep everyones knowledge fresh.
- Curating special wine dinners and events that will wow our guests.
- Guiding customers on the perfect wine pairings for every occasion and budget.
- Ensuring wines are served perfectly at just the right temperature and with the right glassware.
- Assisting with guest orders and making sure everyone has an unforgettable experience!
Qualifications :
- Australian working rights and a current QLD RSA certificate.
- A deep knowledge of wine and food pairingwe love Italian French and Australian wines!
- Solid understanding of COGS and formal hospitality qualifications (minimum WSET Level 3).
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- A positive attitude team spirit and a love for customer service! Bonus points for:
- Experience with Italian cuisine we love a good pasta pairing!
