The Head of Community Programs and Partnerships is responsible for leading and managing Link Wentworths community engagement partnerships and social programs to strengthen tenant outcomes and community wellbeing. This role oversees the design delivery and coordination of community programs and tenancy sustainability initiatives ensuring they deliver tangible outcomes for our customers and communities. Youll champion tenant voice embed co-design principles and foster strategic partnerships that enhance service delivery and social impact. Your leadership will drive innovation collaboration and measurable improvements in community wellbeing.
In this role you will:
Lead and Manage Community Programs and Partnerships
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for community engagement and social programs mentoring and guiding teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Champion tenant voice and embed participatory approaches across service design and delivery.
Develop and Deliver Community Programs
- Oversee the development and implementation of Link Wentworths Community & Place Plan.
- Design and deliver programs that improve tenant wellbeing access to education employment and community participation.
Build and Manage Strategic Partnerships
- Establish and maintain partnerships with government NGOs and local organisations to enhance service delivery and funding opportunities.
- Negotiate and manage partnership agreements ensuring compliance and performance monitoring.
Drive Innovation and Impact
- Use data and insights to inform program design and evaluate outcomes.
- Identify funding and grant opportunities aligned with organisational priorities.
Ensure Compliance and Quality
- Oversee Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) services and ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Monitor budgets KPIs and reporting to senior leadership.

To be successful in this role you will have:
- A visionary approach with extensive experience in social housing community development or related sectors.
- Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and deliver strategic outcomes.
- Expertise in partnership management stakeholder engagement and program evaluation.
- Strong capability in data-driven decision-making and impact measurement.

You will also need to have:
- Minimum 5 years leadership experience in social housing community policy or social program development.
- Postgraduate qualification in business social science community development or related field (or significant management experience).
- A valid National Police Check (less than six (6) months old) NSW Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Willingness to comply with vaccination requirements travel between offices and be office-based five (5) days per week.
- Access to a registered and roadworthy vehicle and a current NSW drivers licence.
