The Department are seeking multiple Senior Cloud Solutions Architects to lead the application cloud migration activities and support digital innovation in the departments application portfolio. These positions are suited to experienced technical leaders with a strong focus on delivering business outcomes a proven ability to solve complex challenges and a commitment to accelerating the departments digital agenda.
Key duties and responsibilities
Includes but is not limited to;
Lead the design and implement scalable secure and resilient cloud application architectures including the migration of legacy and on-premises applications to cloud-native deployments.
Develop high-level and detailed application architecture designs for cloud deployments.
Apply architectural best practices and align solutions with the Departments enterprise architecture frameworks and ICT strategies.
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand
Skills and Experience Required:
1. Demonstrated 10 years of system architecture design and enterprise development experience with a proven track record implementing complex systems in diverse domains and technology environments including cloud native deployments.
2. Proven in-depth expertise in cloud architectures cloud native deployments and their security capabilities.
3. Experience in delivering secured applications with in-depth knowledge of DevSecOps practices security design principles and standards.
4. Experience in modern development methodologies CI/CD principles automation best practices languages and frameworks including C# and Angular
5. Strong leadership qualities including experience mentoring and guiding developers and engineers.
6. Highly developed interpersonal skills and expertise in stakeholder engagement including the ability to translate technical information for non-technical audiences
Location and Contract Term: This role is based in ACT. 10 month contract with 1 x 12-month extension options pending budget and delegate approval..
