Position Summary:
The Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning sanitizing and properly storing all kitchen utensils equipment china flatware and glassware. Additionally the role includes maintaining cleanliness and organization in all kitchen storage and receiving areas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Wash all wares using the dishwashing machine or by hand.
Clean the receiving and trash areas.
Collect trash from kitchen areas empty garbage barrels wash and re-line with new bags.
Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
Store all dishes and other wares in proper areas.
Clean the dish machine after each meal period.
Assist with food preparation putting away deliveries and cleaning coolers freezers and storage rooms as needed.
Perform other duties as appropriate.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Restaurant experience preferred.
Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Positive attitude professional demeanor and appearance in all situations.
Ability to problem-solve manage multiple tasks under pressure and work independently with minimal supervision.
Physical stamina to stand walk lift bend and kneel for extended periods.
Flexibility to work varying hours including nights weekends and holidays.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor settings including the restaurant/lounge and on-course areas. Team members may be exposed to hot surfaces sharp utensils moving equipment cleaning materials and varying weather conditions. Adhering to safety protocols is essential to prevent injuries from environmental and equipment hazards.
