A Brief OverviewAccountable for immunizations/inoculations to prevent the spread of communicable disease.
What you will do
- Responsible for administering immunizations in a manner consistent with good nursing practice and coordinate immunization programs.
- Responsible for following up on immunizations and assuring proper record keeping.
- Observes records and reports employees reactions to drugs and treatments to appropriate individual.
- Maintains inoculation rooms for necessary supplies and materials. Ensures cleanliness. Prepares list of medical supplies needed.
- Occasionally travel to owned or managed facilities as directed.
Essential QualificationsThe individual must be able to work the hours specified. To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily including having visual acuity adequate to perform position duties and the ability to communicate effectively with others hear understand and distinguish speech and other sounds. Required Education License/Certification or Work Experience:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Board of Nursing An active license in the state of practice Upon Hire
- 1-3 years
