Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Wellness Director to lead our health and wellness initiatives. This role is responsible for developing wellness programs that support physical emotional and social well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage individualized care plans for residents
- Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations
- Monitor resident health and coordinate medical interventions
- Design and implement wellness programs and activities
- Serve as a liaison between residents families and healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation
Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- 35 years of experience in senior care or assisted living
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of geriatric care and wellness principles
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Preferred Skills
- Certification in gerontology or wellness programming
- Experience with dementia and memory care
- CPR and First Aid certification
Working Conditions
- May include evening or weekend hours
- On-call responsibilities may be required
- Physical activity including walking standing and occasional lifting
