Marketing Assistant - Job Specification:
This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or an individual with a natural ability / interest in marketing to gain exposure to a variety of marketing channels within a fast-paced leading hotel in the West End of London. Reporting to the Marketing Manager youll have the opportunity to be involved in all areas within the Marketing Team from idea generation content creation copywriting and partnerships.
Support the Marketing Manager in planning and executing marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
Assist with designing creative materials for all areas of marketing not limited to brochures newsletters presentations and in-room collateral.
Assist with copywriting across all areas of marketing and scheduling comms.
Assist with content creation and photoshoots.
Liaise with internal departments (not limited to Sales Events F&B Front Office and Reservations) to promote seasonal offers experiences and guest packages.
Assist with social media reporting scheduling liaising with influencers press and monitoring analytics.
Maintain the hotels online presence on 3rd party websites microsites and respond to reviews ensuring accuracy and brand consistency.
Manage administrative tasks such as maintaining databases coordinating suppliers alongside tracking and monitoring the merchandise inventory.
These tasks are the core foundation of the role but the successful candidate will be expected to assist the team on a range of projects as and when required.
About You
You have a degree in Marketing Communications Hospitality or a related field (or equivalent experience such as an apprenticeship).
Youre highly organised detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Youre passionate about marketing with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a flair for storytelling.
Youre flexible and have an adaptable working style with an ability to learn quickly use initiative multitask and think on your feet
You think creatively and like to come up with new innovative ideas
Youre an avid user of social media and a lover of content and like to come up with new ideas for how content is created/displayed
You are a team player and passionate about guest experience
Very Desirable - Experience of Canva Adobe Creative Suite iMovie and Mailchimp
