Job Summary
Responsibilities
Peratons Space & Intelligence Sector is looking for a Systems/Sys Admin Engineer to join our diverse team at our Herndon VA office. The candidate will work within a cross-functional Agile scrum team and will be responsible for integrating and troubleshooting deployed systems.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelors degree with 5 years of relevant experience OR a Masters degree with 3 years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree requirement
- Significant experience administering Linux or other UNIX-based systems.
- Experience working with Alpine or other container-based operating environments.
- Skilled in working with DevOps or DevSecOps teams to deploy and troubleshoot systems
- Experience creating and maintaining shell scripts including Python and Bash
- Managing SSH access and security policies across a hybrid environment.
- TS/SCI with current poly
Preferred Qualifications
- Security or equivalent certification and willingness to serve as a privileged user and systems administrator
