We are looking for an Amazing:Senior Java Developer
Seniority: Senior (5 years)
Type of position:Hybrid from Oporto. Candidates must be in Portugal already!
The amazing you will have:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (e.g. Spring Hibernate).
- Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
- Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g. MySQL MongoDB).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and build tools (e.g. Maven Gradle).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g. Docker) and cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure) is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Fluency in English
- CPLP nationality or EU work permit required
- Based in Porto
To turn yourself from amazing to unique youll have (plus):
- Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g. Oracle Certified Professional) are a plus.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g. HTML CSS JavaScript) is a plus.
- Fluency in French valued.
