Were looking for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join a busy and supportive transport team.
The role:
Youll be carrying out multi-drop deliveries across the region ensuring goods are delivered safely and on time. No two days are the same and youll play a key role in representing the company on the road.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Carrying out safe and timely deliveries to multiple drop points each day
- Loading/unloading vehicles where required
- Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Completing delivery paperwork and using handheld systems accurately
- Maintaining high standards of customer service with clients on delivery
- Working closely with the Transport Manager to plan routes and timings
- Following health & safety and road transport legislation at all times
- Staying overnight on rare occasions (usually once every few weeks more during busy periods 25 night out allowance provided)
Shifts:
- Monday Thursday: 7:00am 4:30pm
- Friday: 7:00am 11:00am
- Flexibility for earlier starts if required agreed with the Transport Manager
What we need from you:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- In-date CPC and Digi Tacho card
- Minimum of 2 years Class 2 driving experience
- A professional reliable and flexible attitude
