Pensions Lawyer (Senior Associate) 6 to 12 years plus PQE

Location: Glasgow or Edinburgh

Brief

We are looking to recruit a 6 to 12 years plus PQE lawyer to join our Scottish pensions team which is top ranked in the Legal 500 and Chambers legal directories.

We are unique in providing a pensions practice which is arranged into a series of client service lines to help bring a clearer focus to our work and allow members of the team to develop their skills and increase their experience in particular areas.

The Candidate Required

The successful candidate will:

  • ideally have gained experience in the pensions department of a City firm or large regional practice and already have a good level of knowledge and experience of pensions law.
  • be a team player able to establish effective working relationships with colleagues in an agile environment;
  • be technically strong and able to exercise good commercial judgment;
  • have the interpersonal skills necessary to develop effective working relationships with clients market contacts and the wider firm

The role is addition to providing advice on technical pensions law issues across the different work types that the team covers the successful candidate can expect to be involved in the teams client and market-facing activities. This will include client meetings training sessions and networking and working routinely with colleagues in Edinburgh and Glasgow and across the wider national pensions team.
