In this role:
As a Software Engineer you will support sustainability reporting and compliance by designing building and maintaining applications and internal platforms on Azure. This role contributes directly to executive-level and public-facing sustainability disclosures while ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks. You will work on Azure full-stack technologies SQL/Synapse and modern web development tools to deliver software that improves business processes enables accurate tracking of sustainability metrics and drives compliance closure.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys end-to-end ownershipfrom coding and design to testing deployment and DevOpswhile contributing to meaningful sustainability initiatives with high organizational visibility.
Responsibilities:
- Design implement test deploy maintain and improve software components and services.
- Develop and maintain internal platforms for sustainability tracking and reporting.
- Track and close compliance-related SFI items.
- Participate in technical discussions bringing new ideas and solutions.
- Own quality and DevOps for delivered code.
- Build software that empowers customers to optimize business processes.
- Create internal tools that improve team productivity and quality.
- Safeguard data and systems with appropriate security measures.
- Review approve and modify databases and database management systems.
- Contribute to a collaborative solution-focused team environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 810 years of professional software engineering.
- Cloud Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Azure full-stack technologies Azure SQL and Synapse.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in C# and RESTful API development; working knowledge of React JavaScript/TypeScript and HTML/CSS.
- Database & System Knowledge: Experience with database design optimization and troubleshooting; strong understanding of SDLC practices.
- Collaboration: Excellent problem-solving debugging and communication skills; ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in Power Platform.
- Experience with sustainability reporting or compliance frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
Salary Range
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including without limitation skill sets education responsibilities experience and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $135000 - $145000 USD/annually. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidates qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
