The primary purpose of this role is to assist in the development and execution of the Chile Mexico & Colombian underwriting strategy and support the Active Underwriter in its delivery.
Assist in inputting policy information within the corporate system servicing the business portfolio and assisting with quotes policy drafts and bookings following established workflows and processes as necessary.
Support the portfolio in line with controls underwriting strategy and guidelines.
Ensure that documentation is completed timely and accurately according to standards. File and check the completeness of documentation in company shared folders.
Daily maintenance of system tables such as Foreign Exchange rates Brokers Insurers Re-insurers Adjustors etc.
Assist in addressing and resolving overdue tasks workflow issues and various clerical matters as necessary.
Track the status of policies endorsements and renewals identifying possible overdue items alongside with team leader.
Follow up on the signature process.
Perform KYC/AML according to local and group regulations. Ensure completeness and quality of KYC documentation.
Recommend new procedures and programs where warranted.
Minimum of an Business Administration or Engineering degree Accountant or equivalent in business or a related field.
The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of professional experience. While not required experience in the insurance industry is highly desirable.
Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and development skills.
Proficient in Word Excel PowerPoint and database tools (Desirable).
Excellent attention to detail.
Good organizational and communication skills.
Logical analytical and resourceful.
Ability to follow through on tasks/projects.
Must be able to work independently but also contribute as part of a team.
English proficiency required. (B1/B2)
Propsito del Rol:
El propsito principal de este rol es asistir en el desarrollo y ejecucin de la estrategia de suscripcin para Chile Mxico y Colombia y apoyar al Suscriptor Activo en su implementacin.
Responsabilidades Principales:
Asistir en la introduccin de informacin de plizas en el sistema corporativo atender el portafolio de negocios y ayudar con cotizaciones borradores de plizas y reservas siguiendo los flujos de trabajo y procesos establecidos segn sea necesario.
Apoyar el portafolio en lnea con los controles la estrategia de suscripcin y las directrices.
Asegurarse de que la documentacin se complete de manera oportuna y precisa segn los estndares. Archivar y verificar la integridad de la documentacin en las carpetas compartidas de la empresa.
Capacitar a los nuevos empleados en el uso de los sistemas segn sea necesario.
Mantenimiento diario de las tablas del sistema como tasas de cambio corredores aseguradores reaseguradores ajustadores etc.
Ayudar en la resolucin de tareas atrasadas problemas de flujo de trabajo y diversos asuntos administrativos segn sea necesario.
Rastrear el estado de las plizas endosos y renovaciones identificando posibles elementos atrasados.
Dar seguimiento al proceso de firma.
Mantener herramientas que contengan informacin clave de suscripcin para facilitar el cumplimiento de sanciones fraudes y verificaciones de delitos financieros antes y despus de la vinculacin.
Realizar KYC/AML de acuerdo con las regulaciones locales y del grupo. Asegurar la integridad y calidad de la documentacin KYC.
Recomendar nuevos procedimientos y programas cuando sea necesario.
Calificaciones:
Ttulo mnimo en Administracin de Empresas o Ingeniera Contador o equivalente en negocios o un campo relacionado.
El candidato ideal tendr 3 o ms aos de experiencia profesional. Aunque no es un requisito la experiencia en el sector de seguros es muy deseable.
Habilidades sobresalientes para la construccin y desarrollo de relaciones interpersonales.
Competente en Word Excel PowerPoint y herramientas de bases de datos (Deseable).
Excelente atencin al detalle.
Buenas habilidades organizativas y de comunicacin.
Lgico analtico y con recursos.
Capacidad para dar seguimiento a tareas/proyectos.
Debe ser capaz de trabajar de forma independiente pero tambin contribuir como parte de un equipo.
Se requiere dominio del ingls. (B1/B2)
