The Opportunity:
As the Contracts Coordinator at Washington State Universitys College of Nursing (CON) you will be responsible for managing a broad portfolio of contracts that support the colleges academic operational and clinical functions. You will ensure that all contractual relationshipsranging from clinical training agreements to vendor contracts and academic MOUsare executed efficiently in compliance with university policies and aligned with strategic goals.
You will serve as the central point of contact for contract coordination and as the Contracts Coordinator you will work closely with internal stakeholders external partners and university offices to facilitate the full lifecycle of agreements.

This is a full-time100% FTE permanent position that is overtime-eligible.
Monthly Salary: $3665 to $4882 Range 41 Steps A - M Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28. Step M is typically a longevity step.

Required Qualifications:
High school graduation or equivalent AND two (2) years of experience in the program specialty OR equivalent education/experience.
Demonstrated experience in the program specialty would include coordinating written contract/agreement development and processing or other similar programs in a business education healthcare or related setting that involves outreach relation management and database management.
Coordinating/executing on day-to-day operations of a program.
Learning implementing and advising on policies and procedures.
Strong computer skills including intermediate proficiency with MS Office Excel Word PowerPoint Teams and Outlook.
Positive and effective professional communication via email phone and in person.
Strong proof-reading and comprehension skills.
Demonstrated strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated strong organizational skills.
Demonstrated excellent customer service orientation guiding/teaching others.
Willingness and ability to participate in external in-person meetings and facilities.
Must have or be able to obtain by time of hire a valid drivers license and meet requirements in accordance with SPPM 7.10 and departmental driving standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors in business health-related healthcare administration public administration or higher education-related fields.
Experience working with contract/affiliation agreement development or negotiation higher education professional healthcare institution or policy development.
Experience coordinating the operation of a specialized or technical program.
Experience in computerized record systems and/or information management.
Experience with legal writing.
Knowledge and understanding ofHIPAAandFERPA.
Familiarity with the nursing or medical fields and educational requirements.
Understanding the tenants of project management.
