Job Summary

Summary:
The district is hiring multiple full-time Special Education Teachers for the upcoming school year to serve students with IEPs in a variety of instructional settings (co-teaching push-in resource and self-contained). Ideal candidates are licensed LBS1 educators who bring creativity flexibility and data-informed instruction to meet individual needs. This is a highly collaborative role involving regular communication with parents related service providers and school staff.

What Youll Do:
Plan and deliver instruction aligned to curriculum and IEP goals
Modify and adapt lessons to support diverse learning styles and needs
Provide services in multiple environments including self-contained and inclusion settings
Monitor student progress using formative and summative data
Participate in IEP meetings write measurable goals and maintain compliance
Communicate with families and collaborate across teaching teams and services

Experience Youll Need:
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with LBS1 endorsement
Experience using Google Classroom or equivalent digital platforms
Understanding of CCSS differentiated instruction and literacy/math best practices
Skilled in data interpretation and instructional adjustment
Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred
