Job Title: Payroll/HR Coordinator
Location: On-Site
Employment Type: Full-Time
Starting Pay: $21.00/hour
Probationary Period: 3 months (pay rate will be reviewed after completion)
Overview:
Kay Dix Inc is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Payroll/HR Coordinator to join our on-site team. This full-time role is responsible for supporting payroll processing and HR functions. Training will be provided but prior payroll experience and bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly or biweekly payroll accurately and on time
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws
- Assist with onboarding orientation and employee file management
- Track employee time off benefits and leaves
- Support HR communications and employee relations
- Maintain confidentiality and data accuracy
- Contribute to a professional organized and positive work environment
Requirements:
- Payroll experience required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word preferred
- Experience with Sage payroll software a plus
- Willingness to learn we will provide training
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree in accounting or business preferred (HR coursework/certification is a plus)
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting at $21.00 per hour
- 3-month probationary period with pay rate review after completion
- Health Insurance: Comprehensive medical coverage with a $150.00 company contribution.
- Retirement Plan: 401(k) plan with up to 4% company match after 4 months of work
- Paid Time Off (PTP): Vacation is typically granted after 2 years of continuous employment; however for this position paid vacation may be granted earlier depending on performance evaluation and responsibilities.
- In addition employees are eligible for up to 5 days (40 hours) of paid sick leave after completing 90 days of full-time employment.
