Join Our Team as an On-Site Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) in Rockford IL!

Are you a dedicated Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) seeking a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in students lives E-Therapy is hiring! Are you currently licensed in IL If not we will help you become licensed here and we will explore other opportunities to expand your qualifications and eligibility for this role.

Position Details:

  • Start Date: ASAP for the 25/26 school year
  • Hours: Full-time (35 hours/week)
  • Grade Levels:K-12 students
  • Certifications: Vision Certification required LBS1
  • Compensation: Starting at $42/hour (commensurate with experience)
  • Location: 100%On-Site

Physical Requirements (Working in a School Setting):

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand walk and move around in various areas of the school facility. The employee must be able to communicate effectively with students staff and parents both verbally and in writing. The employee may need to lift or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds and may occasionally be required to bend stoop kneel or crouch. Additionally the employee must have the physical stamina to supervise and engage with students throughout the school day.
