Job Title : Ruby on Rails Tech Lead

Location : Hartford CT (Hybrid)
End Client: Hartford Insurance

Job Description:
We are looking for a highly technical Ruby on Rails Tech Lead with strong hands-on development expertise. The ideal candidate should be able to design develop and lead technical solutions while guiding the team on best practices.

Must-Have Skills:

Must be very strong technically and able to work hands-on

Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails (6 10 years preferred)

Expertise in REST APIs MVC architecture ActiveRecord and database design

Strong knowledge of JavaScript HTML CSS and front-end integrations

Good understanding of CI/CD Git cloud deployment and performance optimization

Ability to lead review code and make technical decisions

Nice to Have:

Experience with PostgreSQL / MySQL

Exposure to AWS or any cloud platform

Prior experience in insurance domain (bonus)
