Job Description
The Human Resources Specialist will coordinate all aspects of human resources within the company to improve efficiency and employee happiness.
Position Objective:
To develop and implement strategies to attract retain motivate and train personnel as well as manage various human resources processes and policies.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to attract retain motivate and train personnel.
- Participate in union negotiations and routine dealings with the union.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process.
- Maintain updated systems such as Workday and Prosys.
- Handle difficult labor issues such as employee conflicts terminations and disciplinary procedures.
- Plan and conduct new employee orientation.
- Support safety and environmental programs.
- Enforce company policies and procedures.
- Be responsible for the training area.
Requirements:
- Education:Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience:1 to 3 years of experience in similar roles.
- Knowledge:Human resources management HR management systems (Workday Prosys) labor relations training and development safety and environmental policies.
- Skills:Organization effective communication conflict resolution leadership teamwork.
