Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
- Displays a positive attitude towards Safety Quality Policy and Procedures.
- Has the knowledge of and exercises all of OSHA Brand and Customer policies at job site.
- Complete a qualified Job Safety Plan identifying the hazards and risks and implement necessary controls.
- Select and use proper PPE as identified on the JSP.
- Demonstrate proper site preparation prior to scaffold erection modification or dismantling. (housekeeping etc)
- Erecting and dismantling scaffold equipment as part of a crew
- Observes safe practices and use proper ladder climbing techniques
- Participate in the tool box talk
- Loads transports and unloads materials tools equipment and supplies using proper lift technique.
- Putting up caution tape flags and hang tags on flagging
- Complete other duties as deemed necessary by Supervisor
- Must complete level 3 of Mentoring Program until elevated by Supervisor or Competent Person to next level.
- Receiving and returning material to scaffold yard/lay-down.
- Knowledge of quality control checks and inspections.
- Knowledge of scaffold hand signals.
- Knowledge of material handling techniques.
- Basing out and erecting scaffold towers hangers and cantilevers.
- Installing toe boards guardrails ladders etc. on scaffold towers and low level cantilevers.
- Perform general laborer duties which pertain to the scaffold trade.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Bilingual Communication preferred.
- Driver requirements in accordance with Brand Vehicle Policy if required.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience in the scaffold craft.
- Must pass Brands skills assessment
- Based on customer requirements may be able to pass an extensive background check.
