Park Avenue Group is pleased to partner with a global bank in New Jersey in their search for a Commercial Lender. The Commercial Banker is primarily responsible for generating and maintaining portfolios of commercial loans and deposits as well as providing client service cross-sales and retention of inherited and acquired bank relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Originates and manages a portfolio of commercial banking relationships targeting companies with revenues from $10-50 million.
- Drives new business through direct sales managing a prospect pipeline and networking with key business leaders and organizations.
- Manages an existing portfolio with a focus on exceptional client service and proactive credit quality.
- Leads the credit process from identifying viable opportunities and preparing comprehensive deal submissions to working with credit partners to ensure timely renewals and address any issues.
- Delivers product proposals and client solutions effectively overcoming objections to convert business opportunities.
- Collaborates with internal teams like Business Banking Corporate Banking and Credit partners to cross-sell products and elevate overall performance.
- Maintains proficiency in the banks credit policy and a full range of credit and non-credit products.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent required and
- 4-6 Years Business Banking experience required
Certifications Licenses & Registrations:
- Licensed Real Estate Agent preferred Or
- Notary License preferred
