JobResponsibilities
The position of L2 production support focuses on maintenance of applications in production including tasks related to troubleshooting application issues and root cause analysis. Must have business skills and technical IT knowledge in order to deliver application operations services.
Description of tasks:
- Work on planning and execution of incident problem change and service requests within agreed SLA
- May create and develop software solutions to the application including deployment to production
- Manage ticketed query system (ServiceNow Jira)
- Maintaining and updating technical documents and procedures
- Collaboration with multiple teams and vendors for production related activities
- Conduct analysis on Business Requirements and prepares program specifications at the systems level for simple to minor systems or modules
- Develop or maintain test and implement modules according to system specifications. Identify all possible scenarios and prepares tests for the systems under development.
- Executes test plan during development and system testing and provide user acceptance testing or other testing support as required to ensure that the system processing reflects user requirements / designs
- Regularly check on overall health of the applications supported. Provide pre and post support for software application releases.
- Analyze data and communicate to stakeholders
Job Requirements
- ITIL Service Management preferably a foundation or higher certification is preferred
- Experience with Service Now and similar ticketing tool

- At least 2 years of experience in application support or L2 production support
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Able to work independently or within a team
- Able to read/write easy to medium SQL query
- Knowledge in Source Code Control procedures
- Knowledge/experience in Release Management practices
- Knowledge/experience in Configuration Management practices
- Competent Systems Analysis and Design skills
- Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) major tasks and deliverables
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Self-driven quick learner flexible ready for quick changes or new tasks and explorative
- Strong communication skills can participate in calls/present to clients and can collaborate with any level in the organization
- Good soft and people skills/can-do attitude/always ready to assist
- Should be open to working on extended hours holidays and weekends
