Systems Analyst RPA / AI
Job Summary
The Systems Analyst is responsible in transforming business requirement/need into technical solutions. The role oversees analyzing requirements designing system documentation and ensuring IT solutions are aligned with the organizations strategy standards and technology landscape. The role also champions artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives ensuring responsible use structured governance and value-driven implementation across organization.
The role requires strong analytical skills an understanding of systems and data processes and the ability to guide stakeholders through technical concepts in a clear structured manner.
Duties and Responsibilities
Requirement to Technical Translation
Conduct end-to-end process discovery requirements gathering and process decomposition using structured methodologies.
Review and analyze requirements provided by stakeholders and translate them into clear technical specifications
Organize and relay technical details to the Technical Architect for Solution Design.
Validate system behavior feasibility constraints and alignment with existing technology standards
Proactively identify gaps risks and opportunities during requirement translation/interpretation.
Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical feasibility
System Analysis and Documentation
Develop system documentation including Data Flow Diagrams Entity-Relationship Diagrams system workflows and integration maps.
Prepare functional and technical specifications required for solution design and development.
Maintain an updated inventory of system documents ensuring accessibility and consistency.
Conduct impact assessments for proposed changes enhancements and new features.
Solution Development Support
Draft proposals for new or enhanced solutions including options feasibility considerations and preliminary cost/benefit insights.
Support the Technical Architect in evaluating tools technologies and system approaches.
Participate in vendor discussion capability reviews and solution demonstrations as needed.
AI Capability and Solutions
Serve as the focal person for AI-related initiatives guiding the organization in adopting responsible and value-adding capabilities
Explore and assess AI tools platforms and technologies that can improve business processes and IT operations.
Identify where AI can replace or improve system rules and exception handling.
Lead or support AI experimentation prototyping and proof-of-concept activities
Work with cross-functional teams to define AI requirements test outputs and evaluate performance
AI Governance Compliance and Delivery
Develop align and implement AI governance policies including responsible use of guidelines data handling standards and model monitoring requirements.
Ensure AI Solutions adhere to organizational policies IT controls and regulatory requirements such as Data Privacy Act.
Periodically review AI tools and recommend updates to governance frameworks based on new risks trends and organizational priorities
Drive AI-related projects from planning to execution ensuring smooth coordination among stakeholders
Oversee testing validation training and rollout activities for AI-enabled solutions
Monitor solutions performance post implementation and recommend optimizations
Document learnings and provide regular updates to leadership on AI initiatives and impact.
Stakeholder Management
Work closely with IT teams architects developers and business units to ensure clarity and alignment throughout solution delivery
Support change management by providing system-level details risks and dependency mapping
Facilitate discussions and meetings to gather insights clarify details and resolve technical matters.
Communicate system impacts timelines and risks in a way that is understandable to non-technical teams.
Conduct training or briefing on new AI tools or automation capabilities when required.
Provide knowledge transfer to developers operations and business teams.
