About the role
Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton has an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Midwifery Unit Manager with strong leadership skills to join them on a permanent full-time basis.
As the Midwifery Unit Manager (MUM) you will provide operational/clinical management and leadership to the unit and provide a professional line management responsibility to nurses/midwives in the organisation. As the leader of this team you will provide exceptional nursing management and be responsible for the clinical resource management education and research accountabilities of nursing within our Womens Unit. Additionally you will ensure the provision of best practice quality and safety aspects of patient care.
Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton has been supporting the health of people living in Central Queensland for more than a century. Our heritage listed Kenmore building was purchased by the Sisters of Mercy in 1915 and opened as the first Mater Misericordiae Hospital north of Brisbane on 14 November in the same year.
Salary range: $71.42-$76.80 per hour plus 12% superannuation andaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15900access to many staff benefits!
