Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

This position plays a key role in supporting administrative functions in the Front Office Design and various other departments. The role requires a detail-oriented organized and dependable individual with the ability to multitask communicate effectively and work collaboratively across teams.

  • Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner.
  • Open sort and distribute mail.
  • Maintain client binders and job documentation (physical and digital).
  • UPS shipping and receiving.
  • Maintain ordering of office and janitorial supplies and materials as needed.
  • Enter purchase orders as needed.
  • Support daily office organization.
  • Schedule meetings as needed.
  • Maintain sample program: which includes ordering and keeping supplies of our standard showroom samples and sending out client samples.
  • Provide general backup coverage for other office staff.
  • Assist with other tasks as needed.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Strong organizational and filing skills; high attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Professional friendly phone and client communication skills.
  • Dependable self-motivated and collaborative team player.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • High School Diploma or GED
  • Prior experience in an office support role
  • Familiarity with shipping systems filing systems and basic bookkeeping a plus
