About the unit
The staffing offices primary function is to help control the hospitals biggest resource its workers. Each day the staffing office sends the RNs LPNs Nurse Assistants Clinical Assistants and Patient Observation Aides throughout the hospital so that each unit of the hospital has enough staff to thrive in caring for their patients. This is not a Human Resources or Recruitment position.

A Magnet-designated hospital that is a recognized health care leader serving the area since 1977. It offers specialty services that include 24-hour emergency care wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy a surgical pavilion a pain management clinic orthopedic surgery an inpatient rehabilitation facility and full-service radiology including advanced CT with cardiac scoring fixed MRI including pacemaker cinema vision and ultrasound (MSK and elastography).
Scope of work
Maintain safe and effective staffing levels for all inpatient nursing. Create and updates the daily staffing sheets in ANSOS. Covers daily staffing needs for inpatient nursing. Monitors employee call-ins. Responsible for all staffing changes to be placed in ANSOS. Ensure we are staffed to matrix. Enters exception log edits into ANSOS for payroll. Assigns Contingent/Temp staff and Outside personnel to units as needed.
Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent required
2 years of staffing and scheduling experience preferred
Scheduling experience with ANSOS or equivalent staffing system preferred
A working knowledge of computer software such as ANSOS Kronos Microsoft Word PowerPoint Outlook and Excel preferred
