Operates Radiographic equipment to produce radiographs (xrays) under the general direction of theSupervisor/Imaging Director. Performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiringconstant supervision. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independentjudgement and the use of ingenuity and initiative. Ensures safe operation and care of Radiology
equipment and exposure of patients to radiation for diagnostic information. Must be able to provide professional and quality care while following hospital policies procedures and standards.
Minimum Requirements:
Demonstrates extensive knowledge ofprinciples protocols techniques andprocedures of Diagnostic Radiography
and specialty.
Ability to work tactfully andeffectively with fellow staff membersphysicians and the general patientpopulation. Ability to communicateeffectively both orally and in writing. Abilityto work independently and be a functionalteam member in a team orientedenvironment. Self-motivated and able toachieve results through goodorganizational skills.
Ability to organizeand prioritize work efficiently
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
