Benefits to you

  • We pay 95% to 99% of medical insurance premiums for full-time employees including mental health coverage.

  • The hourly equivalent for this position is $29.57 - $45.88 and the annual salary for this position is $61512 - $95436.

Location Highlights

Portland Oregon was founded in 1845 (incorporated in 1851). It is the states largest city and the county seat for Multnomah County. It is named for Portland Maine. It is situated at the confluence of the Willamette and Columbia Rivers. Portland is home to three major sports teams: Trailblazers (NBA) Timbers (MLS) and Thorns (NWSL).

Position Highlights

The Multnomah County Circuit Court is hiring a Multnomah Facilities Support & Procurement Clerk.

In this role

You will perform a wide variety of tasks to support efficient court operations which includes purchasing and maintaining of office supplies and forms stock as well as the related inventory records and logs; researching requests; tracking orders and invoices for payment; making daily courier runs; performing mail room functions. You will use purchases orders and a state-issued credit card for procurement.

You will receive requests for maintenance and repair of office equipment furniture and work areas as well as facility-related issues/complaints. You will fix repair and correct issues if possible. You will research any facility related issues/complaints reported by staff and act as liaison between Multnomah County facilities personnel and courthouse staff and judges. You will ensure the maintenance replacement purchase assembly and installation of office equipment and furniture as needed. You will also organize and perform or oversee the movement of office furnishings equipment and warehouse items (within a building as well as to other buildings). All projects are tracked until completion.

Minimum Qualifications

The qualified candidate must have at least three (3) years experience in construction or maintenance of buildings and/or a procurement role for an organization of 300.

AND

Possession of a high school diploma or GED or equivalent life or work experience.

OR

Any combination of education and experience equivalent to three (3) years of experience that typically supports the knowledge skills and abilities for the position.

Working Conditions

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Parking

Multnomah County Circuit Court does not provide parking for the central courthouse or justice center staff. Multnomah does offer a Rideshare Rewards program that will provide $50/month for eligible employees. To be eligible you must spend $50 or more per month on one of the following for working at the courthouse or justice center: TriMet (public transportation) Pay to Park (street or garage) or Carpool (share cost of parking). Another option is the Douglas Garage at 1835 South River Dr. Portland OR 97201. Parking cost is $180/month and is a half mile from the courthouse and justice center.

Criminal Background Check
You will be subject to a criminal background check if you are a finalist. Adverse results are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and may result in disqualification if the circumstances are directly related to the duties and responsibilities of the position.
