Techstaff The Technical Placement Specialists has an assignment available within a local governments Business Applications Team. This position will be focused on implementing a new ITSM solution (ServiceNow JIRA Freshservice BMC SolarWinds etc.).
Requirements for this position include:
Must have over five (5) years experience advising medium to large enterprise environments.
Must have at least two of these current certifications in PMP AGILE or Lean Six Sigma.
Provide expert guidance on technology trends best practices and strategic IT planning.
Collaborate closely with leadership to formulate comprehensive IT strategies that align with the organizations mission vision and long-term objectives.
Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify relevant technologies that have the potential to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Develop technology roadmaps that outline the sequencing of initiatives projects and investments required to achieve strategic IT goals.
Work with stakeholders to prioritize projects based on potential impact resource availability and alignment with organizational priorities.
Propose technology-driven solutions that enhance efficiency reduce costs and improve the quality of services delivered to the public.
Develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate the smooth adoption of new technologies and processes across departments.
Provide guidance on effective communication training and support mechanisms to ensure user acceptance and engagement.
Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for automation streamlining and optimization.
Assist the organization in evaluating and selecting technology vendors products and services that best align with strategic objectives and budgetary constraints.
Conduct comprehensive vendor assessments including due diligence on technology capabilities reputation and reliability.
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and impact of IT initiatives.
Establish data-driven reporting mechanisms to track progress analyze trends and make informed decisions for continuous improvement.
Assist in establishing IT governance frameworks that ensure accountability transparency and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Cultivate strategic partnerships with leadership fostering collaborative relationships built on trust open communication and shared objectives.
Serve as a proactive advisor offering insights and recommendations to guide the organizations technology roadmap and digital transformation journey.
Offer guidance on data privacy security standards and legal considerations relevant to the organizations IT operations.
Evaluate existing IT infrastructure systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
The contract will be up to 20 hours per week performed mostly in office (CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCAL). This position will be for 6 months with a possible/likely extension.
