Job Description
We are looking to hire aNetwork Engineer Level 1 for a great opportunity in the Annapolis Junction area.
TS/SCI with Poly security clearance required
Responsibilities:
- Architect and deploy secure high-performance network solutions
- Keep our LANs running smoothly with hands-on administration and troubleshooting
- Monitor and optimize dataflow to reduce latency and boost throughput
- Capture and analyze network performance data to drive improvements
- Configure and integrate front-end and back-end systems for seamless communication
- Collaborate on mission-driven network designs and architecture
- Translate performance metrics into actionable system requirements
Requirements
An active and current TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph is required to be CCAs will be accepted at this time.- Experience in classified or mission-critical environments
- Familiarity with enterprise-scale architecture and secure communications
- Strong troubleshooting instincts and a proactive mindset
- Comfort working independently and collaboratively under pressure
- Clear concise documentation and communication skills
- A passion for making networks faster smarter and more secure
Bachelors degree with 5 years of experience or Masters degree with 3 years of experience or no degree and 10 years of hands-on Network Engineering experience
- Solid grasp of secure network design configuration and maintenance
- Experience with performance monitoring tools and data analysis
- Ability to optimize complex systems for speed and reliability
- IAT Level I certification (DoD 8570.01-M compliant)
