Overview:

  • Salary HEW 8 $116551 - $% Superannuation

  • Based at the Melbourne CBD campus and hybrid ways of working

At RMIT were reshaping how students and staff experience our services. As part of our Timetabling Transformation Project we are seeking a Senior Analyst with the drive and expertise to turn complex service challenges into streamlined effective solutions.

About the Role

Sitting within the Enabling Services Reform team of the Operations Portfolio you will lead business process improvement activities that directly impact timetabling and broader service delivery. This is not a traditional analyst role its a unique opportunity to design future-state processes reduce pain points and create long-term efficiencies that enhance the student and staff experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading end-to-end process mapping to identify opportunities for service optimisation.

  • Driving improvements in timetabling processes ensuring systems and workflows support RMITs scale and dual-sector context.

  • Embedding continuous improvement methodologies and using data to measure and demonstrate benefits.

  • Partnering with stakeholders across the University to deliver changes that are practical sustainable and aligned with RMITs strategy.

About You

You are a collaborative and forward-thinking professional with experience in:

  • Process improvement and service transformation preferably in the higher education sector.

  • Understanding of timetabling challenges in large or dual-sector institutions.

  • Translating complexity into clear actionable solutions that deliver measurable impact.

  • Building strong stakeholder relationships and communicating effectively across diverse groups.

Please Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children and National Police Check.

About the Portfolio

The Operations Portfolio enables an integrated enterprise-wide delivery for the best practice student and staff experience. The Portfolio incorporates the following business units: Enterprise Projects and Business Performance (EPBP) Communications Experience Human Resources Information and Technology Services (ITS) Office of the Chief Operating Officer Procurement and Property Services Group (PSG).

Enabling Services Reform (ESR supports the effective and efficient execution of RMITs strategy through Strategy to Execution. Facilitating the creation governance and delivery of RMITs strategy roadmaps through our Annual Operating Plan; and Service Connect Embedding and continuous improvement across our Service Connect platforms including Workday and Service Now.
