Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Program/Project Manager to lead complex business-critical initiatives from concept through completion. This role requires expertise in managing large multi-phase technology projects strong skills in project planning and execution and advanced proficiency in MS Project and Excel. The Program/Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders ensuring projects are delivered on time within scope and aligned with organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage projects of varying scale and complexity from initiation through implementation and closeout.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans including scope requirements resource allocation milestones risk assessments and budget tracking.
- Create and manage complex multi-phase schedules in MS Project including dependencies and critical path analysis.
- Build and maintain advanced Excel workbooks dashboards pivot tables macros and automated reports to support data-driven decision making.
- Identify assess and mitigate risks while ensuring compliance with organizational policies PMO standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and report on project progress providing regular status updates and resolving time-critical issues to avoid delays.
- Facilitate communication with stakeholders at all levels presenting information clearly credibly and with influence.
- Lead cross-functional and matrixed teams fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Recommend and implement sustainable process improvements and corrective actions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree (Masters preferred) or equivalent experience.
- 10 years of progressive project management experience including oversight of complex technology projects.
- Advanced expertise in MS Project (multi-phase scheduling dependencies critical path).
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables advanced formulas macros and dashboard/reporting automation.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies risk management practices and PMO standards.
- Excellent organizational communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to influence and deliver in high-pressure environments.
