Job Summary:
The Business Data Analyst role in Austin TX involves collaborating with technical and non-technical teams to analyze complex data-driven business problems and recommend solutions. The analyst will design and optimize data workflows create documentation and present visual data models.

Location: Austin Texas United States
Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex data-driven business problems and recommend actionable solutions.
- Design and optimize data workflows and data management processes using modeling or mapping tools.
- Write Epics and User Stories including acceptance criteria.
- Create and maintain data-related documentation including data dictionaries business requirement documents and data mapping specifications.
- Design and present visual data models and dashboards.
- Lead data-focused meetings and interviews document outcomes and drive resolution of data-related issues.
- Analyze complex data-driven business problems and recommend actionable solutions.
- Design and optimize data workflows and data management processes using modeling or mapping tools.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Hands-on experience as a business data analyst in the Information Technology industry.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Experience writing Epics and User Stories.
- Bachelors degree in data science Computer Science Information Systems Business Analytics or a related field (or equivalent experience).
