Job Description
Job Title: Azure Virtualization Engineer
Location: Malvern PA (Hybrid Onsite Day 1 required)
seeking an experienced Azure Virtualization Engineer to join our team and support the design implementation and support of a robust published applications infrastructure leveraging Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) RemoteApps. The ideal candidate will have expertise across virtualization technologies in cloud ecosystems particularly AVD in Azure and Citrix in AWS.
Former Vanguard experience is required with referrence (official email id and phone number)
Key Responsibilities-
Design implement and maintain Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and RemoteApps infrastructure.

Deploy and manage published applications leveraging AVD RemoteApps.

Support and optimize Citrix virtualization environments (Citrix on AWS).

Collaborate with cloud architects and engineers to implement scalable secure and high-performing virtualization solutions.

Leverage Nerdio to streamline and automate AVD management (a strong plus).

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to virtualization and end-user remote access.

Document designs configurations and operational procedures.

Work cross-functionally to support enterprise-level virtualization deployments.

5 years of professional experience in virtualization engineering (AVD RemoteApps Citrix).

Hands-on expertise with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) deployment and management.

Strong knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps/Desktops in AWS.

Familiarity with Nerdio Manager for Enterprise (preferred).

Strong knowledge of Active Directory FSLogix Group Policies and profile management.

Proven cloud ecosystem experience (Azure and AWS).

Excellent troubleshooting documentation and collaboration skills.

Microsoft certifications (AZ-104 AZ-140 AZ-305) or Citrix certifications.

Experience with hybrid cloud deployments.

Knowledge of scripting/automation (PowerShell Terraform etc.).
