Overview: Were looking for a Cyber Defense Developer with at least 7 years of experience to join a dynamic team developing cutting-edge solutions that support critical federal systems. Youll work with modern tools collaborate with top-tier engineers and help shape the future of secure technology.

Responsibilities

Analyze user needs to design software that meets performance and functionality goals
-
Debug and enhance existing software to improve reliability and efficiency
-
Recommend improvements to documentation and development standards
-
Design and code new features or modify existing software for evolving requirements
-
Integrate legacy systems into modern environments
-
Develop and optimize data queries for current and future datasets
-
Write and review technical documentation to support development and deployment
-
Lead development efforts as needed based on project scope and methodology
-
Design and implement complex database interfaces and queries
-
Develop algorithms that meet or exceed system performance benchmarks
-
Assist in creating and executing test procedures for software components
-
Collaborate with users and system engineers to analyze workflows and solve problems
-
Modify software to adapt to new hardware or improve performance
-
Use scientific analysis and modeling to predict and measure design outcomes

Qualifications
Education & Experience:
-
-
-
Bachelors degree in computer science or a related discipline.
Four (4) years of additional SWE experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree. -
Seven (7) years of experience as an SWE is required.

Skills & Abilities:
-

-
Proficiency in C/C.
-
Experience with Windows and/or Linux platforms.
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
-
Must support the Intelligence Community.

Required Skills:
-
-
-
2 years developing applications using languages like C C C# Java or Python
-
2 years developing for Windows or UNIX environments
-
Experience with DevOps tools (Artifactory Docker Terraform Ansible Packer)

1 year working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins Bamboo) and building automated pipelines
