We are currently recruiting a detail-oriented and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor with preferred experience within the interior design industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all cost aspects of interior construction and refurbishment projects from inception to completion ensuring value for money cost control and contract compliance.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates BOQs and tender documentation for interior fit-out projects.
- Manage project budgets track cost variations and conduct regular cost reporting.
- Oversee procurement of subcontractors materials and services ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Conduct site visits and valuations to assess progress and ensure accurate billing.
- Negotiate and administer contracts with clients suppliers and subcontractors.
- Handle cost control risk management and dispute resolution.
- Collaborate with project managers designers and contractors to support successful project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with building regulations contract law and company policies.
- Prepare final accounts and ensure timely project close-out.
Personal Attributes and Experience:
- Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying Construction Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in quantity surveying with a focus on interior fit-out projects.
- Strong knowledge of cost management procurement and contract administration.
- Proficient in estimating software and MS Excel; knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit
- Excellent negotiation communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and deadlines.
