COMPUTER (NETWORK) OPERATOR III
Summary/Objective:
The Computer (Network) Operator III processes a range of scheduled addition to operating the system and resolving common error conditions this worker diagnoses and acts on machine stoppage and error conditions not fully covered by existing procedures and guidelines (e.g. resetting switches and other controls or making mechanical adjustments to maintain or restore equipment operations).

SCA Coverage:

The McNamara-OHara Service Contract Act (SCA) covers prime contracts of over $2500 entered into by the federal government and the District of Columbia in which the principal purpose of the contract is to furnish services in the U.S. through the use of service employees. The position of Computer (Network) Operator III is considered a service position and is mapped to the Occupation Code and Title 14043 Computer Operator III of the current Wage Determination.
