Job summary:
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth were looking to add a Logistics Manager located in Guangdong province.
What a typical day looks like:
Directs the daily activities of the distribution function activities include shipping receiving inventory control etc.
Generates warehouse productivity reports in regard to selection rates receiving rates and accounts for all labor hours. Adheres to budget requirements and works toward obtaining goals.
Ensures contribution between relevant operational departments to ensure production schedules are expedited in a timely manner and that the planning team is helped with regard to work and material schedules.
Ensures that there is continuous improvement to standard logistics process such as replenishment data interchange systems demand management electronic data systems administration and related functions and all are effectively implemented as appropriate.
Builds and maintains relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives and resolve customer / operational issues.
Acts as escalation to senior management as appropriate.
The experience were looking to add to our team:
Typically requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. Masters degree preferred. Typically requires 8 years of distribution warehousing or equivalent experience.
Ability to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals technical procedures or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients customers and the general public.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions percentages ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form.
