Description

The Sociology program at Methodist University is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach one section of Applied Statistics that will be taught during the Spring 2026 semester. The class meets in person on our Fayetteville North Carolina campus.

Responsibilities of the instructor include:

  • Develop class curriculum
  • Hold in-person class sessions
  • Maintain consistent email communication with students
  • Assess students through assignments and/or projects and exams
  • Provide assistance and mentorship to students
  • Maintain Canvas class page

Qualifications

A Masters degree in Sociology or a closely related field and previous teaching experience at the undergraduate college level are required. A Ph.D. is preferred.
