Description:
The Department of Humanities at Columbia College seeks an adjunct (part-time) instructor to teach HIST 121: American History to 1877 during the Spring 2026 semester. The class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:30 a.m. 10:50 a.m. beginning Tuesday 13 January. This is an in-seat synchronous general education class taught on our home campus in Columbia Missouri.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications include a Masters Degree in History with significant graduate work in U.S. history content. College teaching experience preferred. Graduate Transcripts must be submitted with application materials. Please submit an application and CV that includes teaching experience and degree information.
