Manage all the Logistics & warehouse activities of tooling material & consumables within the Marshalling Harbour Construction Sites Warehouse scope including activities inventory & storage to achieve Customer & GEV OFW goals and objectives.
Act as the day-to-day contact for material and Parts control so you are required to always maintain a professional attitude.
Collate information to provide to Senior management and customers e.g. KPIs utilization and throughput figures.
Manage Logistics execution of the contract through the logistics & warehouse subcontractor at Site ensuring that operations are lead on-time on-quality on-budget with a strong focus on Wind Installation Vessels on-time load-out.
Required to use GEV Oracles warehouse control system to support with investigations internally and externally stock allocation and collecting data to put into management reports.
Manage & supervise the warehouse operatives personnel including shift management and supervision of working hours to maintain the warehouse Operational according to Load out rhythm and schedule. Maintain the receiving schedule for inbound deliveries into the Warehouse.
Coordinate if needed with Commissioning personnel the logistics associated to the shipping of material required on the Service Operation Vessels (Preparation of port calls collaborate with offshore storekeepers ) that are being operated from a different port location.
Supervise and monitor warehouse inventories per GEV process. Monitor storeroom in & out warehouse material quality and stock management.
Supervise and monitor the YBS batteries Logistics. Ensure sufficient stocks are maintained at Site to support Load outs. Ensure that YBS battery charging strategy at Site is being applied and conform per GEV process.
Ensure that highest levels of GE EHS & Quality standards are enforced and applied.
Control that obligation related to warehouse equipment reception are fulfilled in accordance with GEV policy and processes.
Coordinate with end users the handover of equipment from the warehouse.
Highlight reordering products as needed to maintain sufficient inventory levels.
Optimize warehouse space usage and efficiency.
Maintain accurate inventory and associated records and files.
Ensure inventory is accurately traced in GEVs Oracle Warehouse management system per GEVs requirement.
Ensures paperwork matches the companys Oracle Warehouse management system
Ensure no movement of any parts until all process and transactions are complete. That include the proper registration of the parts inside GEV Oracle warehouse management system.
Carry out periodical stock and process compliance audits
Act as focal and coordinate the annual audit on valued inventory at Site in accordance with GEV policy.
Report any EHS or Non-conformity Reports with the EHS or Quality team. Lead and participate in Root Cause Analyses.
Capture and escalate all changes in scope schedule and financials.
Advise of any major issues especially those affecting EHS commercial or schedule aspects of the contract for the Site Manager to review and address.
Daily presence at Site is required.
Undertake other tasks as may be requested by the PMO.
Qualifications/Requirements
Diploma in Logistics from an accredited College or University or equivalent experience/knowledge.
English.
Desired Characteristics
Proven experience on Offshore Wind project material & logistics and scheduled fulfillment.
Proven experience in Warehouse management.
Experience using an Oracle Warehouse management system.
Experience working as the first point of contact for customers.
Experience using Microsoft Excel.
You must have a positive can-do approach to work.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
Experience in Wind projects site construction with multinational team and subcontractor workforce
Proven experience with subcontractors management.
