Do you have a passion for guiding people back into meaningful employment after illness or injury Our Dunedin clinic is looking for a Vocational Consultant who will combine their clinical expertise with problem-solving skills to assess abilities design tailored rehabilitation and return-to-work plans and support clients to reach their full potential. Youll work closely with employers healthcare providers and ACC to create safe sustainable outcomes making a real difference in peoples lives every day. We are looking for someone who can work independently with remote clinical support. You will have a mixture of face-to-face and telehealth appointments working primarily on ACC work with the option of ACC work in the future.

You must have CDANZ membership to be eligible for this role.

Main responsibilities:

  • Handle claims reporting to ACC with a sense of urgency
  • Carry out career competencies assessments for rehabilitation clients
  • Create action plans for career change / development
  • Ensure physical rehabilitation needs are prioritised and put in place

The ideal candidate:

  • Tertiary qualification / Career Development Association of New Zealand member
  • Were looking for an analytical thinker who is quick to problem solve
