ABOUT THE POSITION

County of Riverside Registrar of Voters is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic temporary Community Outreach Members to join our growing this role you will play a vital part in liaising with our community and helping to secure the resources needed to fulfill our mission.

We are recruiting for several positions including but not limited to bilingual candidates with strong reading writing proofing and speaking abilities in English and:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


Education Qualifications:
  • Required Degree Type: Bachelors
  • Required Major: Communications Marketing Journalism or a closely related field.

Additional DesiredCandidate Qualifications:

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills including public speaking and the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Interpersonal: Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with community members stakeholders and team members.
  • Organizational: High level of organizational skills to manage multiple tasks projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Technical Proficiency: Competence in using office software (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite) data analysis tools and social media platforms for outreach purposes.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues analyze problems and develop practical solutions.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances new information and unexpected challenges.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all aspects of work from data entry to public communication.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment contributing to group efforts and supporting colleagues.
  • Cultural Competency: Sensitivity to and respect for diverse communities with the ability to engage effectively with people from various backgrounds.

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION

The schedule for this position is full-time: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday including weekends and holidays with mandatory overtime.

Pre-Employment

Temporary and Per Diem employees serve at the pleasure of the agency/department head.
